First Announcement

Abstract submission deadline , 31 May 2008
Abstracts can be submitted online by going to www.vetpatder.org. Contact Prof. Dr. Sevil AtalayVural e-mail: svural@veterinary.ankara.edu.tr, not to come across any problem about online form submission and to ask something about the research summaries. All the submitted abstracts will be analysed by Congress Science Committee and after the acceptance of oral free communication or poster presentations acceptance letters will be sent to the participants. 
 
Oral Free Communication Presentation
This is a 10-minute presentation with 5 minutes for questions from the audience.
Poster Presentation
This requires the author's presence at the poster for at least 1 hour during the poster session.
All abstracts that presented during the congress will be published in the Ankara University Veterinary Medicine Faculty Journal as a supplement.
     All abstracts must be written both in English and Turkish. (in English and also in Turkish)
*                The abstract text should be within 2500 characters (together with space) and typeface: Arial Type, 12 p, single space.
*                The abstract title must be brief (max. 2 lines allowed in "Title Case" format) and clearly indicate the nature of the investigation.
*                The abstract must represent original work and should be as informative as possible. Conclusions must be supported     by data.
The body of the abstract should be ordered as follows:
*                Objectives of study
*                Materials and Methods
*                Results
*                Conclusions
*                It is the author's responsibility to submit a correct abstract. Any error in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author
*                Once the abstract has been submitted, modified or deleted, the corresponding author will automatically receive an acknowledgement of receipt, modification or cancellation at least 1 month later. (by email)
*                Abstracts cannot be withdrawn after the abstract submission deadline 31 may 2008.
*                 
*                Oral Free Communication Presentation
*                All participants can present only one oral free communication presentation.  PowerPoint or PDF presentations are accepted on CD-ROM, DVD or USB memory cards. Version MS PowerPoint 2003 is recommended. Double slide, overhead projection and use of own laptops are not permitted.
*                Poster Presentation
*                Posters with a clearly presented heading including the title of the presentation, names of authors and their affiliation must fit the size of the poster board: 90 cm wide and 120 cm high. The letters used should be large enough to be read from a distance of 1,5 m. The best poster presentations will be awarded.
With the first call of the IV. National Veterinary Pathology Congress which will be orginised in Kemer – Antalya at between 29 October – 2 November 2008 ıt is aimed to make a call for the congress registration process and the scientific presentation. Second call that will be sent at future, will include scientific session and panel calendar.

The scope of the congress it is planned that the participation of the members of European Society of Veterinary Pathology who have an active job in veterinary pathology as a speaker. The information about invited speakers and their presentationts will be announced as well.
